I’m not missing out on meat because animals are adorable. I understand that animals eat animals who eat animals who, quite possibly, eat animals. I’m missing out on meat because factory farming is harmful to the environment. If everyone had a meat free meal just once a week, it would make an…

There will be a day when you least expect it. Whether you’re eating a burger, or having a nap, or rowing a boat, the day will come.
And on that day, I’ll be the one finding you.

Go Read Zorro!! Isabel Allende basically took the legend of Zorro and wrote a book about the mysterious legend’s life. i liked this book even better than The House of the Spirits, which is one of Allende’s most famous books. The novel is full of adventure and excitement, and by the end, all I wanted was for Zorro to succeed and accomplish his goals. Go Zorro! :)
“Reckless, unstable, attention-seeking, hysterical, sexually provocative, given to histrionic gestures, and with at least a split, dual or possibly even a multiple personality, Zorro is the archetypal neurotic-as-hero. He also wears a mask. Obviously, out in the real world, you’d lock him up and throw away the key. On the page, though, he’s absolutely irresistible.” -Ian Sanson, The Guardian Unlimited, UK

67. This is one of the best albums I’ve heard in the last 10 years. Arcade Fire is relatively new in the music scene. They bring a very 80’s synth-pop sound that slightly reminds me of Depeche Mode. In fact, I’d love to hear them cover a Depeche Mode song. Maybe “Personal Jesus”. They have another album out called “Funeral” which is great too. Arcade Fire is one of the leaders in the growing Indie Rock movement that has won over several fans that have been wanting a revival of rock since the end of the grunge era and the abomination of the fact that Nickelback is so popular and hated. While it may be light years away from the early 90’s music scene and the revival of rock music, I have reason to be hopeful. The only thing that bothers me about the indie movement is the fans that automatically drop bands after they have reached commercial success. I can understand the trend of fans because I too have bands that I like sharing but hope they don’t get too big but really, you should continue to support the bands you love regardless of commercial success.
Anyway, “Neon Bible” is the sophomore release from this Canadian import. Tracks to look for on this album include “Intervention”, the title track “Neon Bible”, “Black Mirror”, “Antichrist Television Blues”, “Windowsill” and a track that reminds me so much of Depeche Mode, “Ocean of Noise”. Check out this album. Its unique, fresh and I’d recommend it to just about anyone.
*Happy Listening*
A blind wizard walks into a pub. He says to the barkeep, “Want to hear a Hufflepuff joke?” The pub goes completely silent. The barkeep says, “Sir, I am a Hufflepuff. I’m used to handling a rough crowd alone. I have my wand drawn. The wizard to your left is an auror with his wand drawn. He too is a Hufflepuff. The witch on your right has her wand drawn. She is a dueling champion and also a Hufflepuff. Are you absolutely certain you want to tell that Hufflepuff joke?”
The blind wizard says, “Gods no! Not if I’m going to have to explain it three times!”

Do you understand at all about how fucked up you are?
Do you realise the things people have to do in order to survive in your reign?
Most probably not. Perhaps you believe that if you just go on with what you’re doing in spite of how every single thing is going haywire, things would eventually…
